day trading stock pick

What is the best online trading platform (E * Trade? ScottTrade?)?

I would like to make one that did both equities and commodities and future, but I'll be happy with the actions. I put my 40k in mutual funds in daily transactions (do not worry, I have the proper training, classes, risks, know I'm in danger of losing, etc), but still want to pick one up. I want an online platform that is fast, you get information quickly, running cheaper operations, and is generally reliable and easy to read. Anyone have any experience with the good?

Go read some online articles that compare the major platforms. Just do an online search of "online brokerage comparisons" or something. I recommend Scottrade as routes are as cheap as going to get. The trouble is its margin of above-average rates and have seen mixed reports on their speed of filling jobs. But for me, are perfect (but maybe not for you). Etrade is supposed to allow trade in 4 or 5 Marktes exchanges in the world - a great advantage for a smart investor or one who wants to focus on international reserves, but useless for most smaller investors (or most of those who want to focus on investment funds — like you, perhaps). There are some other good. You will find that OptionExpress is very good (never used this, but are good value). More expensive than Scottrade but rates are lower and margins are perhaps quicker to filling operations. Anyway, that's my take on 3 of them, but there are many more out there. Of course, only used to be SIPC insured, again and again - I advise you to seek more details about this through an online search. FYI, I think had a Kiplingers areticle about this about 1-2 years. good article, but much can change in 2 years (and I'm not positive was Kiplingers) Best luck.
