which audited 04, we are in the wrong ,,,,, i turn in all my transactions in securities,,, but yours is electrinic we were not sure what worked, that did not get mail in 1099, said he was given up now, but when you close the account they pay taxes all over his original investment ,,,,, all emails and I thought well, I knew it was not electronics or how it worked,,,, now I concerned that error and found that 7 years back and verify everything, except that things should be fine, and that was an honest mistake due to ignorance, I guess not understanding that Elecronic trades, what are the possibilities, since found this now going to go back and look again, we are in the low income group, ,,,,,,
Audits are based on three-year lookback period. If no return was filed a year, then the IRS can go back to that year.
