stock tip spam

I used to think that taxis or restaurants that use the old fashioned paper receipts for carbon transactions by credit card were the main source of debt fraud credit card.

I told the thieves go to garbage dumps and rummaging through garbage cans in search of that revenue. Printing on carbon paper give the number of credit card and expiration date. This is one reason why they started using the CVS code 3 digits on back of credit cards.

However, recently my friend had a virus that sends a message spam to everyone in your Gmail address book!

This got me thinking … Unlike Yahoo or Hotmail, Gmail uses JavaScript to store the address book, and viruses that exploit this vulnerability.

Of course, you think that sending a innocuous e-mail with a penny stock, Viagra, or the supply of MLM is not a big deal. People will recognize it and simply delete it.

Then, I felt in another JavaScript and ASP programming prowess?

I know that many people keep a special folder on your computer with your passwords or credit card information.

These same people use the commands to copy and paste (CTRL-C and Ctrl-V) to enter repetitive strings text, including credit cards.

Sounds harmless?

The just for fun, type Notepad WordPad or some garbage text, highlight, then copy (using the copy right … just the keyboard shortcut CTRL-C).

Or simply select the sample text below and copy your clipboard:

My card number is 1234567890123 credit

Then, go to:

href = "http://www.friendlycanadian.com/applications/clipboard.htm"> http://www.friendlycanadian.com/applications/clipboard.htm

This only works in earlier versions of Internet Explorer. The latest versions IE, if you warn (normally).

Surprised?

There was a movement recently when some popular sites in Norway showed banners for Internet Explorer 6 (IE6), which advises the user's browser to update your browser to its latest version. They also suggest looking for alternative browsers, and now the campaign is spreading worldwide!

There are several browsers to choose from. My preference is Firefox, with all your favorite extensions. In addition, there is Google Chrome, Apple Safari, Opera or just quick update to Internet Explorer 7 or even try the latest IE8 beta.

Here's how to protect your data in the clipboard of Windows and Internet Explorer:

  • Open Internet Explorer.
  • Go to Tools> Internet Options> Security.
  • On the Security tab, click the Custom Level button.
  • In the Security Settings window, locate the message is "Allow paste operations via the script. "Under this message, select Disable then click OK.
  • In the Security Settings window, locate the message is "access programs clipboard. Under this message, select Disable, then click OK.

I hope the message above throw some light on the fraud by credit card!

Someone sends me stock tips daily. When I score spam mail as I get a tip of new shares from a new direction. So, marking as "spam" does not help. All suggestions on how to stop it?

Put stock in a filter tip. Enter the filter to be delivered to the Trash. Here `s how. = Yahoo! Mail offers two ways to help block unwanted messages if you receive multiple messages from the same source and you want to block the sender, you can set a filter to match a unique part of the return address. In general, a name or phrase in the body of the message works well, but if the sender always uses the same email, filtering based on the From: field is very effective. Just set the destination folder in the trash. Note that the use of filters like this to avoid spam that does not prevent sent. For more information on creating a filter, please see: How do I create a filter?. You can also use the "address block.
